I am a Chicken hen advocate. I love to see when folks scoop the poop and scrape the roost. Our Hens give us so much life and ask for so little in return. lets spruce up their area and keep it clean and yes curtains on the nesting boxes are absolutely OK! LOL

Chicken, you are so lucky. At my aunt's, she wouldn't have gotten that treatment. Aunt would have just fixed the problem permanently. Fuzzy was had some fur... Oh, that's the wrong Fuzzy sorry. (Grin) Jason, if you are going to stay there for another year, it's time for a new polytunnel. Being able to back up with a trailer is not hard, but it's not easy either. I think, Jason, you are not alone backing up a trailer. Enjoy your greens! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.

I've been giving my chickens black soldier fly larvae, too. I get them in the 5lb bags. I use hot water to warm them up at night before they go to bed. They go crazy over them.
